Recent grad of the LA Film School, Dajan can be found on campus helping students with their projects, or picking up odd jobs related to the film industry or the SPFX. So she's been in LA a total of four and a half years. She's not crazy about it, but it's the only city where she has a decent shot of finding work and not getting fired just for being herself.
History
Dajan Tripp is a girl who has had a life of family tv type normality, flanked by periods of profound weirdness. She had a perfectly normal life until age six when her mother vanished from the kitchen without leaving the house, taking the car, or leaving a note. Daj was out playing, so wasn't in the house when the fire started from the unattended pot. Her father died one year later to the day of her mother's disappearance, which left her to be shipped off to her only known relative, her aunt Audrey.
She grew up fairly normal, except that every accident or scuffle or mishap she got into never seemed to be serious, though other kids experiencing the same ended up with bumps, bruises, or even casts. The year Dajan turned 18, she got a letter delivered from her mother, letting her know of her half-demon heritage, and all that entails. When she graduated high school, she just took a job at a local restaurant. But the accident prone situations popped up and she got fired. This started a pattern that followed her until her 21st birthday, at which point she left for LA to go to film school for special effects.
Dajan's now trying to make a living in LA, and slowly finding out just how much supernatural influence there is in the City of Angels.
